This week was all about creating unique collage fodder for future art journaling projects.
We explored a wide range of materials and techniques, experimenting with everything from acrylics and watercolours to tissue paper, sheet music, bottle tops, and even candles. The focus wasn’t on creating a finished piece—it was about exploring, playing, taking creative risks, and letting go of expectations.
By the end of the session, everyone had built a wonderful collection of handmade papers, textures, and embellishments ready to bring future journal pages to life. It was a joyful afternoon of creativity, curiosity, and discovering that inspiration can be found in the most unexpected materials.
