Pure magic in today’s Art Journaling class!
There’s something so liberating about letting go of control, and today was all about embracing the beautiful mess. We kicked things off by crafting vibrant, unpredictable watercolor backgrounds using plastic sheets—the way the pigments swirl and blend on their own never gets old.
Once our pages were dry, the real story-building began. We layered in vintage sheet music, strips of playful washi tape, and hunted through magazines for “found words” that brought us instant joy. Watching everyone assemble their own unique mosaic of texture and meaning was pure inspiration.
Art isn’t about making a masterpiece every time; it’s about making space for delight.
