Blackout Poetry was today’s creative activity
We created verses, poems, or meaningful words by selecting text from old book pages—allowing new messages and moments of joy to emerge from what was already there.
The remaining text was blacked out and decorated, and each finished page was added to an art journal. From there, we layered it with magazine cutouts, stickers, paint, and other mixed-media elements to make each piece truly unique.
