Get Online Week 2026 – Become a Scam Detective

🕵️‍♀️🔍 WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY OF SCAM DETECTING! 🔍🕵️‍♂️

What an absolutely wonderful time we had at Artworks Community Studio celebrating Get Online Week 2026 with our special event, “Become a Scam Detective!” 🎉💻

Our enthusiastic detectives put their skills to the test, learning how to recognise scams, spot suspicious messages, identify warning signs and stay safer online.

💡 One surprising discovery really got everyone talking!

When we asked participants whether they had ever experienced being scammed in some form, approximately 60% raised their hands! 😮

It was a powerful reminder that scams can affect anyone, regardless of age or experience, and just how important it is to share knowledge, ask questions and look out for one another.

But the best part?

Everyone had a fantastic time, learned heaps, shared experiences and enjoyed plenty of laughter along the way! 😃👏

☕ There was also time for a delicious morning tea, friendly conversations and some good old-fashioned community spirit!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us and helped make our Scam Detective event such an enjoyable and successful occasion.

We hope everyone went home feeling a little more confident, a lot more informed and ready to put their new detective skills into action! 🕵️‍♀️🔐
