Our recent Natural Fibres and Floristry session was a beautiful celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and nature. Participants explored the art of floral design by creating their own stunning flower crowns using a mix of fresh and dried botanicals.
The workshop began with learning how to shape and bend wire to form a strong mechanical frame — the essential structure that supports each crown. From there, everyone discovered how to craft delicate mini bouquets, thoughtfully combining textures, colours, and natural fibres to create harmonious arrangements.
These small floral posies were carefully attached to the frame, layer by layer, bringing each unique crown to life. The result was a collection of truly individual pieces — earthy, elegant, and full of personality.
It was wonderful to see participants experimenting with different botanical elements, sharing ideas, and enjoying the calming, hands-on process of working with natural materials.
