Week 5 of Art Journaling

City Skyline Inspired
This week in our art journaling journey, we’re drawing inspiration from the beauty of the city skyline.
🖊️ Morning Session: City Silhouettes
Using white pens on black paper, we explored simple line work to create striking city skyline scenes. Think bold outlines, glowing windows, rooftop details, and creative patterns. This is a wonderful exercise in contrast, perspective, and mindful mark-making. Even the simplest lines can create something dramatic and expressive!
🎨 Afternoon Session: Landscape Creations
In the afternoon, some participants shifted focus to landscapes. Using paints and/or collage techniques, designing their own scenic journal page. Blending colors for skies, layer textures for depth, and experimenting with mixed media to bring landscapes to life. Whether it’s a peaceful countryside, a vibrant sunset, or an abstract horizon, this session was all about creative expression.
No experience needed — just bring your creativity and enjoy the process. 🌆🌄
